Pavé-set: Pavé, French for "pavement", is a technique whereby the surface of the jewelry is covered, or paved, with stones. Pave setting is a type of gemstone setting, it means the way the diamonds or other gemstones are set in the metal. When many stones are set in this fashion very closely together, covering a surface, that is called "pavé" - from the French for paved or cobblestoned. |
